Real-Time Forecast Systems

The AEF Real-Time Tropical Cyclone Prediction System provides our clients with regularly updated (at 6 hour intervals), objective forecasts of hurricane track and intensity with lead times of up to five days. Forecast data, including predictions of surface wind, rainfall, and track, are provided in both text and graphic formats via the Internet.

We also provide probabilistic assessments of the surface wind and track which clearly show not only the most probable course of events but also enable our clients to determine the likelihood that any particular geographic region will be affected by the storm of interest.
